On the eve of her 39th birthday, a woman desperately attempts to fix her broken biological clock.
"Any woman, for various reasons, has experienced the family, social, and psychological pressures around the "biological clock": that voice in her head that tells her she "should" have kids before it's too late. Without Time (Clock) is a thriller that takes those pressures to a very literal interpretation. With 40 years approaching, Ella Patel (Dianna Agron) leads a quiet, successful, and satisfying life, but soon the pressures start: she doesn't want children, so something must be wrong with her biological clock. So she undergoes a treatment to fix it, though naturally, something goes wrong and she begins to have a psychological breakdown. It's an interesting metaphor about social pressures on women to become mothers, though it isn't always well-aimed. At times it's so literal it comes off as satire and causes laughter, but the interesting concept and performances make it worth a shot."
