In this version, what we already know happens: a man (Bill Nighy in place of Takashi Shimura) leads a monotonous and boring life, merely focused on his bureaucratic work. However, when he receives the news that he suffers from terminal cancer, he has a crisis that leads him to question why he has been living, and to seek a purpose for his last days. Without being anything miserable, 'Viver' is a movie that inspires and invites reflection, precisely, about our way of living."
