"Dorothy from 'The Wizard of Oz' has been given a modern makeover and must face the challenges of being a teenager today. The 16-year-old embarks on an adventure, accompanied by her dog Toto, in search of her mother. Along the way, she discovers her own identity, which is the true quest of the story. And beyond the rainbow, Dorothy confronts all the violence, xenophobia, homophobia, misogyny, mistreatment of the world. But there is hope that it can all be transformed into tolerance, respect and empathy. 'Rainbow' is a movie about maturity and self-discovery. The cast is great and includes Dora Postigo, Ester Expósito, Rossy de Palma and Carmen Maura."
