Born out of the playgrounds of New York City, the "AND1 Mixtape Tour" took streetball to the masses, challenging convention and picking up a team of basketball misfits along the way. 'The Rise and Fall of AND1' traces the journey of how three young friends with a dream of bringing greater acclaim to the game they loved, connected with the underground artform of streetball, and ended up flipping the billion-dollar basketball industry on its head.
"The documentary anthology 'Untold' brings together some of the most shocking and controversial stories from the world of sports, usually focusing on individual athletes or controversial legal cases. 'UNTOLD: The Rise and Fall of AND1' is unusual in this regard, as the title suggests, it is about the birth, growth and decline of the homonymous brand of sports clothing, accessories and shoes. The documentary stands out for its focus on streetball (a freer and more expressive variation of street basketball), in addition to including testimonies from its founders and legends of the sport, such as The Professor, Hot Sauce, Skip 2 My Lou, Main Event and Shane "The Dribble Machine" Woney.
