Profile follows an undercover British journalist in her quest to bait and expose a terrorist recruiter through social media, while trying not to be sucked in by her recruiter and lured into becoming a militant extremist herself.

But here, no terror or suspense: the feature film tells the story of a British journalist who decides to infiltrate the 'on-line' propaganda channels of the Islamic State, trying to extract as much information as possible from its "recruiters". Strong and tense, the feature film stands out for the inventiveness of the proposal, going beyond what had already been done with a computer screen. Highlight, in addition to Timur Bekmambetov's direction ('Night Watchmen'), the mature and competent performance of Valene Kane ('The Fall'), who knew how to put drama even using a screen."
