"Nicolas Cage is one of those action heroes who loves an adventure that challenges the limits of the absurd - and this is once again the case, to the delight of the actor's fans. In the story, Hero (Cage), a criminal, must break a curse to rescue a girl (Sofia Boutella, from 'Atomic') who has mysteriously disappeared. To make matters worse, the protagonist has one more obstacle in his adventure: if he doesn't save her in five days, the explosive suit he is forced to wear will blow up. 'Prisoners of the Ghostland' draws from the source of wild action adventures, which knows that it is precisely irrationality that seeks the viewer.
