Deep below the surface of a seemingly tranquil remote lake lies a perfectly preserved family home. When a young influencer couple sets out to explore the submerged house to capture uncharted content for their social media followers, their dive turns into a nightmare as they discover a sinister presence. With limited oxygen supply and time running against them, the couple must find a way to escape the underwater house of horrors before it’s too late.
"'The Deep House' is a French underwater horror movie directed by Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo (known for the acclaimed 'The Intruder', one of the most violent movies of French extreme cinema). The feature film tells the story of a couple of YouTubers specialized in underwater exploration who dive into a lake and end up discovering a mysterious house at the bottom. What starts as a strange discovery soon turns into a nightmare when they understand that the place was the scene of sinister crimes. Without oxygen and trapped, they end up discovering something even worse: they are not alone. The most interesting thing about the movie is that it takes place mostly underwater, creating a claustrophobic and terrifying atmosphere. The directing duo is experienced within the genre and they know how to handle the terror involved in each scene, delivering a singular and terrifying atmospheric experience."
