Why watch this film?
Gully follows the lives of three teens living in LA, all victims of extreme childhoods. We follow them over the course of 48 hours, as they wreak a hedonistic riot across the city, unbound by societal norms, they take us on a rip-roaring ride of drugs and murder across Los Angeles.
"In a cast led by Charlie Plummer and Amber Heard, 'Gully' is an experimental film massacred by both audiences and critics -- on IMDb aggregator, after 17 thousand user reviews, the movie's rating ended up at 1.2. However, this doesn't need to be an end to the possibility of watching the feature. After all, despite the bad acting and a setting that is visibly a set, 'Gully' brings an interesting look from Nabil Elderkin in a dystopian Los Angeles where three teenagers get into trouble after having a troubled childhood. It's worth noting that it might be necessary to watch the movie with the critical sense on, since the script doesn't decide which message it wants to pass and, in the end, may end up bringing an unnecessary look at society."
