Florian and his dog Lassie live in a village in the German countryside. When Florian's father loses his job, the family have to move into a small apartment where there are no dogs allowed. Lassie is given away to another family, but Florian and Lassie yearn to be reunited again so Florian sets out on an adventure to find his best friend.
"Lassie - An Adventurous Journey became internationally famous due to the 1943 film, which was later adapted in the 1990s and 2000s, all inspired by Eric Knight's book 'The Force of the Heart'. In 2021, the collie puppy returns to the big screen in the remake 'Lassie Come Home'. Directed by Hanno Olderdissen ('Rock My Heart'), the feature film tells the familiar story: a puppy that helps a family adjust to a city change that affects the emotional of everyone, especially the young family member. There is not the same gracefulness seen in the 1943 film or the version from the 1990s. However, you can have fun, be moved by the friendly Lassie and, above all, travel in the nostalgia of this delicate and simple story."
