"Movies of parody are fun, especially when they manage to understand their original material to extract really interesting elements, mixing them with good doses of nonsense humor. 'Pride & Prejudice & Zombies' does this, and it's very funny to see the world of Jane Austen taken by this supernatural universe, and how these universes in collision behave together. The movie unfortunately commits two great sins: the first is not to trust the zombies enough, there are not enough zombies and action in the movie for what it promises, and having more of that would not harm its content in any way. The second sin is a mistake in casting, the choice of Mr. Darcy - an iconic character, with some memorable interpretations in his account deserved justice, and a notorious and more charismatic actor to sustain its legacy-. Overall it's a fun movie, and a good choice to watch with friends."
