Hiding out in Jeju Island following a brutal tragedy, a wronged mobster with a target on his back connects with a woman who has her own demons.
""Night in Paradise" is a South Korean feature film written and directed by Park Hoon-Jun ("New World"). Noir film lovers will enjoy this rescue that Hoon-Jun made of the genre and its update to a context of South Korean gangsters. In the plot, a gangster is forced into exile on an island after suffering an injustice within his gang and there he ends up getting involved with a woman. Despite the slow pace, the production is interesting, captivating and has good references from other East Asian filmmakers, such as Wong Kar-wai."
