In the story, we follow university professor Jo Harding and a team of students with few resources who prepare the prototype of an innovative device that collects tornado data, created by her ex-husband Bill. From then on, we dive headfirst into this "tornado hunt", with cutting-edge special effects for the time and exciting - and scary - scenes. Special mention to the performance of the duo of protagonists, Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt, accurate in their roles of a former couple passionate about their work."
