"It's a bit hard to understand exactly the idea behind 'Deadly Illusions', the thriller starring Kristin Davis ('Sex and the City'), Dermot Mulroney ('My Best Friend's Wedding') and Greer Grammer ('Awkward'). The script is a typical whodunit when it comes to showing the coexistence between a writer, her husband and the new nanny they hired to take care of their children. With this premise, it's kind of obvious which path the narrative will take, however the events end up becoming confusing. Did the director want to make a social critique? Address traumas or female relationships? If you spend too much time thinking about it, you might find the plot a bit irritating, so it's better to surrender to this mystery story with an open mind."
