Young men from all over the world have been meeting at the Blue Boy Bar in Berlin for forty years. According to their website, this is where the city's lonely hearts, business people and tourists go.
"Directed by Argentinian filmmaker and cinematographer Manuel Abramovich (‘Years of Light’), the short film 'Blue Boy' is not only a brief yet powerful exploration of the vicissitudes of male sex work, but also a fascinating exercise in the erotics and judgement that inherently accompany the act of framing, looking, and being looked at. The movie was awarded the Silver Bear for Best Short Film at the 2019 Berlin International Film Festival and the 2019 Buenos Aires Independent Film Festival, among others."
