This grand adventure is full of humor, heart, and the most beloved characters of all time -- Bambi, the wide-eyed fawn, his playful pal Thumper, the lovable skunk Flower, and wise Friend Owl.
"Although 'Bambi' may not be the most inventive Disney movie, it can be said that it is one of the saddest and most melancholic. After all, the scene of the death of the little deer's mother impacted millions of children who watched the movie and perhaps had to deal with the feeling of grief and loss for the first time seeing that small animal suffer. It is a dramatic movie, with a very well evolved arc of the development of the little Bambi, and which manages to draw sighs and tears in equal proportions. It may not be one of the great films of the studio, but still it is one of the boldest and most sensitive, bringing up emotions that are not easily found in family cinema."
