He’s back! Curse of Chucky is the terrifying return of the pint-sized doll possessed by the spirit of a notorious serial killer. When a mysterious package arrives at the house of Nica, she doesn’t give it much thought. However, after her mother’s mysterious death, Nica begins to suspect that the talking, red-haired doll her visiting niece has been playing with may be the key to the ensuing bloodshed and chaos. The return of America’s favorite toy, is full of more blood-splattered thrills and chills.
"No sequence of Chucky will be able to surpass the first films, released in the late 1980s and early 1990s, but this remake has its merits. 'Curse of Chucky' marks the return of the killer doll, which returns repackaged and even more macabre. It is a breath of fresh air for franchise fans, as it is much more interesting than those released before - being them 'Bride of Chucky' and 'Seed of Chucky', from 1998 and 2004 respectively. The film reminds us of the first feature films, 'Child's Play 2' and 'Child's Play 3', as already mentioned. It is worth noting that the second Chucky sequence is one of the best, even more complete than the original movie. As the sixth chapter of the franchise, 'Curse of Chucky' is daring, focuses on a different story and explores the terror elements well. It is not a horror movie that abuses blood or unexpected scare scenes, but it is a good pastime, with great dialogues from the famous doll, which will make you laugh. So you already know, if the production does not scare you, it will make you laugh and entertain."
