Trailer
Why watch this film?
Over a trio of summers, a caretaker for luxury condominiums relies on her resourcefulness and her eye for opportunity to take advantage of whatever comes her way as her employers are caught in major corruption scandals.
""Three Summers", directed by Sandra Kogut ("Campo Grande"), lost its theatrical release window due to the coronavirus pandemic, premiering only in a few drive-in cinemas and then on digital platforms. Starring Regina Casé, the feature film discusses class differences in Brazil from the point of view of a maid who works for a wealthy family. The movie paints a beautiful portrait of what the country is facing today, both politically and economically, especially by showing that many people become rich through illegal means. Despite the delicate theme, Kogut carried the plot well and made it clear what is best about Brazilians: going through so many problems without losing the joy of living."
