Mars Express - An action animation set in the 23rd century on Mars, captivates audiences with a thrilling murder investigation led by a pair of private detectives. Heavily inspired by the classic Blade Runner, which is evident in its stylized look and dense atmosphere, the film was warmly received, winning the Audience Award at the 2023 Fantasy Filmfest and also standing out at the Festival du nouveau cinéma.

In a scene usually dominated by colorful Pixar adventures, DreamWorks' funny stories and Disney's sugary fantasies, it is refreshing to see a true animated social satire entirely aimed at adults, co-produced and distributed by one of the biggest studios. Subtlety and refined humor are not characteristics of 'Sausage Party' and, although it is obviously rude most of the time, it has surprising touches of hilarious metaphysical concepts. Even though it is a production that criticizes consumerism, and has a paradoxical tone for being a massive product created by a studio, it is one of the most unusual animated films Hollywood has offered us so far in the 21st century.
Few series manage to build such a solid personality from the first to the last episode. Emmy-winning creator Loren Bouchard managed to preserve the essence of 'Bob's Burgers' throughout 12 seasons and in this movie he directs. 'The Bob's Burgers Movie' is a comedy that maintains the humor of the series - and, unlike many other adaptations, the feature film does not make you feel like you're watching three consecutive episodes: it tells a story that respects the style of each character. It works elegantly to satisfy long-time fans and also as a late introduction to the Belchers, an adorable and crazy misfit family that are as genuinely relatable as the characters from 'The Simpsons' and 'Family Guy'.
Charlie Kaufman, director of "I'm Thinking of Ending Things" and screenwriter of "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," is one of those filmmakers who doesn't look at the world and society through rose-colored glasses. His gaze and interpretation are pessimistic, even though some of his films end on a high note. This isn't the case with "Anomalisa," however. Here, we follow the filmmaker as he ventures into the world of stop-motion animation to tell the story of a man who no longer finds joy in the world around him—everyone is equally dull and indistinguishable. Things change, however, when he gets involved with a stranger. It's a strong and powerful film, an animation for adults. And it will leave you sad, depressed, and disturbed—but with the positive point of finding a good reflection along the way.

Success of MTV from the 1990s, the duo Beavis and Butt-Head is rescued as another weapon of Paramount+ in the streaming war. However, instead of reinventing the wheel (like Disney did with 'Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers'), 'Beavis and Butt-Head Do The Universe' simply sounds like a new chapter of animation, just produced more than 25 years later - and that's great. Now, that doesn't mean we have more of the same: the two are transported from 1998 to 2022 in a completely nonsensical and crudely humorous adventure, which yields interesting parallels between the past and the current world. There are jokes even about male privilege and the multiverse theme, which invaded audiovisual. The result is a silly and stupid feature film. In other words, exactly what we expect from Beavis and Butt-Head.
