""The Wedding Guest" is a thriller directed by veteran Michael Winterbottom ("Killer Within") starring Dev Patel, who was nominated for an Oscar for "Lion". The premise - about a mysterious man traveling through India and Pakistan to kidnap a bride - is quite interesting, even showing the clash of cultures and the foundations of a society controlled by men. However, the final result has its slips, mainly in attempts to raise suspense. Still, it is a feature film that deserves to be seen."
